Safecontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers.

Clwyd Refrigeration subscribes to 'Investor in People': the standard that provides a national framework for improving business performance and competitiveness, through a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing people to meet these objectives. The result is - what people can and are motivated to do matches what the organisation needs them to do.

In 1999 Clwyd Refrigeration developed an end of life refrigerator processing plant to recycle the carcass and remove both the refrigerant from the system and the ozone depleting substances from the insulation foam. Clwyd Refrigeration worked with both DEFRA and the Environment Agency to compile the industry standard for this type of process.
