We will:-
- Ensure compliance with all current legislation and codes of practice through the completion of regular audits.
- Ensure our workforce maintains the highest level of technical qualifications in aspects of our business that have a potentially damaging input on the environment.
- Commit ourselves to the prevention of pollution, the minimisation of waste, the consumption of resources, and to actively encourage recycling in order to reduce our own impact on the environment.
- Integrate environmental concerns into all planning and design decisions, maintenance and management of its estate including sustainable development principles where possible.
- Avoiding the use of toxic and environmentally damaging materials where possible and preventing the accidental release of polluting substances.
- Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
- Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.
- Formulate and review objectives which are consistent with the achievement of our commitments.
- Actively encourage customers, suppliers, subcontractors, retailers and recyclers of our products to adopt the same environmental principles as Clwyd Refrigeration Limited.
- Ensuring that this Policy is understood, implemented and advocated at all levels in our organisation by improving staff environmental awareness and understanding by educating all staff to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This will be achieved by implementing a training programme for our staff to raise awareness of environmental issues and to enlist their support in improving the company’s performance.
- Regularly reviewing this Policy with the aim of continuous improvement in our performance.
