Clwyd Refrigeration Limited is committed to the highest level of health and safety standards, on site and in its own workplace, and has been audited and approved by both the Safe Contractor scheme and also the British Standards Institution-BSI. We work in accordance with HSE guidelines and government regulations, and keep up to date with changing legislation. Regular site audits are carried out to ensure compliance.
Our Health and Safety policy sets down a framework which will deliver and maintain the control of health and safety. In addition, we have produced a comprehensive full risk assessment / procedure manual covering refrigeration, mechanical and electrical works, and guidelines for general operations and procedures. This is held by all engineers, along with a copy of the COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health) manual.
Health and Safety is given priority from the day an employee starts with the company and is included in their induction.
All our refrigeration engineers are qualified in the safe handling of refrigerant, and other materials and equipment required to carry out their jobs.
All staff working on construction sites have a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) engineering ‘skillcard’. This card proves that they have received Health and Safety training and have the correct qualifications required to carry out their job.
