We have a full time qualified Health and Safety Manager and a Health and Safety Advisor. Both are members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Health and Safety Policy and Risk Assessment and Procedure Manual

Our Health & Safety policy sets down a framework which will deliver and maintain the control of health and safety. In addition, we have produced a comprehensive full risk assessment / procedure manual covering all aspects of refrigeration along with guidelines for general operations and procedures. This is held by all engineers, along with a copy of the COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health) assessments.

Priority Training

Health & Safety is given priority from the day an employee starts with the company and is included in their induction.

All our refrigeration engineers are qualified in the safe handling of refrigerant, and other materials and equipment required to carry out their jobs. In addition they all hold ACRIB cards.

All staff working on construction sites have a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) engineering ‘skillcard’. This card proves that they have received Health & Safety training and have the correct qualifications required to carry out their job.
